OUR PURPOSE STATEMENT

H.E.L.P. For Mom Child Development Center is a state licensed non-profit organization established in April 1980.

The purpose of the center is to fulfill the need for pre-kindergarten educational experience for the children in and around the Lebanon area.

Research has shown that the early years are important years for the foundation of later education and that it is through concrete “hands-on” experience that this foundation is established. Through research, it has also been found that children learn best through play. It is through play that the foundation for socialization skills and healthy self-concepts is built. Together these affect the children’s growth and learning development for the rest of their life.

The Center focuses on both Preschool and Day Care services that build a child’s skill and character through “hands-on” interaction in a manner that learning is a fun and meaningful experience.

As a state licensed center H.E.L.P. holds to the high standards dictated by state legislation and regulation. This insures that our facility meets or exceeds the stringent guidelines regarding the health, safety and child to teacher ratios that are so very important to you as a parent.

As a locally funded, non-profit organization the Center’s staff and Board of Directors can focus their attention on matters concerning child development. Our focus is not “clouded” by intervention from a corporate owner or national sponsor more interested in profit than in your child’s welfare.
