DISCIPLINE

If your child(ren) misbehaves, the teacher will first talk to the child.  If the problem continues, the child will be placed in time-out (one minute per age of child) to think about what they are doing wrong.  If this is not sufficient, then a letter will be sent home with the child and/or the teacher or director will discuss the problem with the parent(s).

BITING POLICY

1.     First time:  Teacher will first talk to child and place in time-out.  A note will be sent home to parents with a copy in child’s file.

2.     Second time:  Parent will be called to pick up child with note placed in child’s file.  The Director and the parents will discuss the problem and both parents will sign a statement concerning the discussion.
