SCIENCE
Safety, animals, weather, seasons, five senses, and numerous other themes (one for each week).
MUSIC
Singing, rhythm band, dancing, musical games, etc.
SOCIAL SCIENCE
Children become aware of people and places in the community and our country.
Following directions, taking turns, cooperation, being responsible for their belongings, review colors, shapes, printing first and last names, be familiar with the days of the week and holidays, size relationship, pattern copying, matching objects, using scissors correctly, and cutting on the line. Child learns address and phone numbers.
Upper and lower case letter recognition, writing letters and sounds of letters.
Practical aspect and use of numbers will include calendar time, counting, writing and recognizing numbers 1-20. Introduction to time and money.

SCHOOL AGERS
This program is set up for children ages 5-12. In the morning there are a variety of activities set up to keep them busy before walking to school. During the school year, the children are walked over at about 8:20 a.m. The children are walked back from school around 3:15 p.m. The afternoon program includes a snack, reading time, art activities, organized games, and supervised free play. During the free time there is ample time to do homework.
The summer for school age children is an extended program of fall. There is a theme for each week and the activities and projects go along with that particular theme. The morning activities consist of: reading time, snack, project time, craft time, outdoor play and then lunch. Afternoon consists of: outdoor play, snack, project or craft time and then free play. Once month the children take a field trip.
